1. Purpose of This Agreement
This Uploader Agreement applies to any user who uploads digital content, including BIM models, Revit families, or related files (“Content”) to Library Revit.
By uploading files to the Platform, you agree to comply with the terms described below.
2. Ownership & Rights
By submitting Content, you confirm that:
- You are the original creator of the files, or
- You have full legal rights and permission to distribute the Content.
You must not upload:
- Commercial assets without authorization
- Copyrighted files owned by third parties
- Files obtained from paid marketplaces unless redistribution is allowed.
You are fully responsible for the legality of the Content you upload.
3. License Granted to Library Revit
By uploading Content, you grant Library Revit a:
non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Host the files
- Display previews
- Distribute downloads through the Platform
- Promote the Content within Library Revit.
You retain ownership of your files at all times.
4. Quality & Technical Responsibility
Uploaders acknowledge that:
- Library Revit does not review engineering accuracy.
- Uploaded files may be modified, downloaded, or reused by other users.
You agree not to upload files that may cause technical harm or contain malicious code.
5. Prohibited Content
The following is strictly prohibited:
- Stolen BIM libraries
- Files containing malware
- Misleading or false descriptions
- Content violating intellectual property rights
Library Revit reserves the right to remove any file at its sole discretion.
6. Content Removal & Moderation
Library Revit may:
- Remove files suspected of copyright infringement
- Suspend uploader privileges
- Terminate accounts that repeatedly violate policies
Removal may occur without prior notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
Library Revit acts only as a hosting platform.
We are not responsible for:
- How users use uploaded files
- Errors contained in models
- Technical or engineering consequences
Uploaders assume full responsibility for their Content.
8. Indemnification
By uploading Content, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Library Revit, its operators, and affiliates against any claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from your uploaded materials.
9. Updates to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement at any time.
Continued uploads after updates constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
