Free Elevator Revit Families and Lift Models
Our elevator Revit families collection includes passenger lifts, cabins, shaft assemblies and elevator doors in RFA and RVT format, ready to drop into residential towers, office buildings, hotels and healthcare projects. Each lift family is modeled at realistic cabin proportions, so your cores, shafts and lobby layouts reflect buildable dimensions from the earliest design stages.

Modeling elevator shafts and cores in Revit
When placing a lift family, check whether it includes its own shaft walls or expects a modeled shaft — families with built-in walls are faster for early massing, while cabin-only families give you control over fire-rated shaft construction in later stages. Remember to coordinate the pit depth below the lowest stop and the overrun space above the highest one; both affect your foundation and roof levels. Pairing a cabin family with a separate elevator door family at each landing keeps door tags and schedules consistent across floors.

Frequently asked questions
Are these elevator Revit families free?
Yes. Most files are free to download with a registered account. A Premium subscription removes limits and unlocks the full library.
Do the lift families include the shaft?
Some cabins come with built-in shaft walls for quick placement, while others are cabin-only so you can model the fire-rated shaft yourself. Each file description indicates which type it is.
Are elevator doors included with the cabins?
Doors are available as separate families in this category, which makes it easier to tag, schedule and repeat them at every landing.
